These Pictures have many stories behind them, for instance, Bobby Ricks created, "Ipswich Country Music Capital of Queensland Association", out of that was his next brain wave "The Queensland Country Music Awards", these wonderful events were intergrated with Festivals and many other activities. Many friendships began, everyone had an important part of each others lives these being positive and negatives, that is life. Right at the beginning of this exciting venture Bobby and Shane met. Shane, along with many others joined the "Music Workshop" of which Bobby conducted. The Queensland Country Music Awards has an interesting history. Keith Urban won a number of Queensland Country Music Awards over the years, as he did where ever he went, Keith Urban's pictures are on this gallery not to take claim for his achievments but to show off this very talented young man and of course to drawn attention to the story and the gallery. One of his Queensland Country Music Awards was the 1981 "Best Junior Male". Shane Leonard Peters also won "Best New Talent" in 1981 Queensland Country Music Awards.
